Not much progress on SBCL/AMD64 from my part since the last report (just some refactoring and performance tweaking), since much of my spare time in the last couple of weeks has been spent packing, moving, and then unpacking. Luckily the port hasn't lost all momentum:

  • Christophe has made a forward port of x86-64-again-branch to HEAD. A few obvious bugs that broke all non-amd64 architectures had been introduced in the branch (as expected), but additionally there's a mysterious problem on the 32-bit Alpha backend that's only present in the forward port.

  • Cheuksan Wang (who's been working on an CMUCL port to AMD64) has also sent some patches to SBCL/AMD64, though I've been too lazy^H^H^H^H busy to commit all of them.
